A concerned member of the public has spoken out about a phenomenon on shortwave radio stations. This citizen — who wishes not to be named due to concerns over their safety — reached out to a number of news outlets, including Shout News, in order to publicize this message.

According to this citizen, radio enthusiasts have been trawling the airwaves after a suspicious automated broadcast was recorded by one of it’s members back in August, which was subsequently reported to law enforcement. These citizens are members of the San Andreas Amateur Radio Enthusiasts, also known as SAARE.

The citizen shared a second message, which is embedded below:

The concerned citizen feels as though these shortwave broadcasts may represent a threat to public safety. While these broadcasts have been relayed to law enforcement, the citizen shared fears that the government cannot be trusted, and that something is going on around the state of San Andreas.

Shout News will continue to report on this puzzling story.
