The Governor and Legislature

Governor Marino’s approval has improved to 24.4%, however their disapproval has increased to 53.7% which accounts for more then half of all respondents. Concerns about the governors availability and perceived absence continue to persist.

The approval of the legislature has stagnated, with some citing the lack of results so far. There remains some general optimism about some of the bills which have been proposed in meetings.

The same is also reflected with the trust measurement. With the trust of voters only slightly improving.

Mutiple respondents remain opertimistic about the upcomming election, and are holding out for some sensational candidate, hoping for a change from the current status quo.

The Departments

Law Enforcements overall satisfaction has improved, but stagnanted near its record high of 43.9% in early August. The other departments satisfaction also remains stable, with DoCL still remaining low due to the on-going closure of some services.

We are now displaying all the departments in a single graph, showing the net positive or the combined scores of “very satisfied” and “satisfied.” We hope this will provide some additional context about the reception of different departments across the government.

We have now started measuring Corrections, Parks and the Public Defenders. This will operate on a monthly basis, swapping with Flight Authority, Public Works, Fire & Rescue in a fortnight, and then repeating in the following poll. We have made this determination based upon some initial analysis which shows these measure should be fairly stable.

The other measures, like law enforcement, judiciary, the DoJ and DoCL are fairly reactionary and can be more volatile due to incidents occuing in the city, and we will be keeping them fortnightly.

The Questions

This week we asked three questions. All were resolved with ‘Yes’ majorities.

The next Politipoll will be occuring during an election campaigning period?? Which is wild to think about so uhh stay tuned San Andreas. Politics is about to get wild.
