As the 10th Congress collapses into a pile of rubble another Representative has resigned.
After some initial confusion about if the resignation had taken place, Shout is able to confirm from the Election Commission and the State Government that Emilie Lillegard-Marinio has resigned as Speaker and from the Legisature.
They resigned without comment, notification, or a press release.
Emilie, who just changed their name back to Yukigumi, was the longest serving member of the Legislature in this 10th congress, after winning a seat by default in the beginning of the year for the 9th Congress. Emilie was the secretary of the Legislature in the 9th Congress, and became the Speaker in this 10th Congress.
In an interview with Shout News during the last election campaign she said:
“I would like to give the people a better brand of representation, and give them what they want to see,”

They are also a witness in the case involving the Governor, who allegedly pointed a gun at the Chief Justice.
Emilie becomes the third person to resign after the court case was brought against the governor. All legislative members of the Felines Political Party have resigned and representative Cassie Kendrick, who was independent.
The upcoming special election will now have three seats open for contest.
