Bright-Starr’s final polling

Harry Kennedy Avatar

And just like that, the Bright-Starr governorship has ended with a guilty verdict and a resignation. So for the final time, what do the people have to say about Former Governor Ella Bright-Starr?

The (Former) Governor & (Current) Legislature

The former Governor’s approval rating dropped to 2.1%, a day before she would eventually resign. This is a drop of over 30% from our first poll only four weeks ago on June 23.

This is once again, a new record and the lowest result ever.

In terms of performance, the newly reinvigorated Legislature has rebounded to average levels, while the Governor remained with a record low rating of 1.4 out of 10. It’s currently unknown if this will also rebound with our new Governor, Quinn Lillegard-Marino.

76.6% of respondents agreed that Former-Governor Bright-Starr should have resigned. With 19.1% saying she shouldn’t have resigned.

In the terms of voter demographics, those who are politically disengaged or didn’t vote in the last election were more likely to say she shouldn’t have resigned, while both voters for the Governor and for the opposition at the last general election increased their support for her resignation.

Quinn will do no better, she should follow suit and resign. Give the state a fresh slate! And take Jack Burton with.

It’s nice to see that 42.5% are at least satisfied with the police. And with the neutral vote takes the majority. Especially with the increase in crime in the city.

Glad to see defending yourself from a perceived threat gets you crucified but being an actual murderer gets you elected to be a state rep by the same public
