May Election
With voting being only 13 days away, we asked voters what their biggest issue was coming into this election.
The biggest issue reported was Representation, with 57% of those who answered this question mentioning that accurate and active representation was going to be their biggest issue.
Next was Law Enforcement at 14% with most mentions being concerned with H.R. 336 and more accountability for police actions.
Violent crime was mentioned by 10% of respondents. Asking for a crackdown, or for the government to do more to address all types of violent crime.
Justice for victims of crimes received 10% with most respondents talking about getting harsher sentences for repeat offenders and addressing the lack of consequences for criminal activity.
The remaining 10% of respondents spoke about the environment, pay conditions, or other hyper-specific policy topics.
An overwhelming majority of respondents said they intended to vote in the upcoming election.
9th Congress
The general dissatisfaction in government has continued with the 9th Congressional Legislature falling to a new low of 2.38 / 10. Governor Key's approval hasn't changed from the record low of 23.1% from the 28th of April.
Trust in government hasn't improved but 'no trust' has fallen slightly.
