Cavanagh suggests that getting people into jobs, training and skills-based learning is a better way forward then just “giving people money.”

Ella Bright-Starr has responded “UBI needs protections” and that its for the benefit of everyone in the state.

Cavanagh responded that he believes he has performed well tonight.

Recalling Elected Officials

Cavanagh has answered yes to “Do you believe that elected representatives should be able to be recalled by a petition from citizens?”

Housing Shortage

Police Lawsuits

Cavanagh is now answering questions about the massive amount of Police Lawsuits that have been steadily increasing in recent months. Cavanagh says his approach will be dealing with the ‘problem officers’ and early intervention. Cavanagh wants an ‘actual budget’ which includes settlement fees.

Bright-Starr says their approach will be about training, and ensuring that police ‘learn from’ their ‘mistakes.’

Accusations of ‘Election Tampering’

A site recently surfaced, Ella Bright-Starr is now addressing the claims. Saying “If there was proof, there would be someone in jail.”

State-backed loans

Liam Cavanagh has also announced a policy for state-backed loans, where loans would be available for businesses and people who are in debt. The Loans would be means tested and approved by the Department of Labor and Commerce.

Ella Bright-Starr has accused Cavanagh of “gambling with state money.”

Changing Policies

Liam Cavanagh has announced that that his policies are changing. He now says UBI will be stopped for felons if their bank accounts are in debt. He has also receded his policy on removing Universal Health Care.

Ella Bright-Starr says that removing UBI is going to create more crime and that criminals will return to crime income, rather then relying on handouts.
