On the night of March 17, the Black Lotus compound in Mirror Park was raided by SWAT. The raid was witnessed by the public, as Mirror Park is a suburban neighborhood in a populated area. Shortly after the raid, Sheriff Chris Stevens of the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office released a press release explaining the details of the raid.

Today on March 17th @ 7:32 PM EST SWAT teams arrived at the Mirror Park Black Lotus Compound with two TARVs and operatives with a search warrant in their hand for the premises. Upon making contact the SWAT team announced themselves and demanded any individuals on the scene to surrender. Suspects on the scene then raised their weapons towards the SWAT team after being demanded to surrender and lower any weapons. The SWAT team opened fire on the suspects incapacitating all suspects on the scene- no officers suffered severe injuries as a result of the altercation.

After the warrant was served and all suspects and the premises were searched the SWAT team was able to apprehend 13 suspects and recovered 21 illegal firearms and government property that was found on the premises. All suspects were then transported to Sandy Shores Sheriff’s Office for processing. This comes from a thorough investigation and multi-department effort to crack down on firearm crime and illegal firearms on the street following several gang shootings in recent days. The multi-department effort does not wish to comment any further on the situation that happened tonight.

Chris Stevens, head of SWAT

Larry Tate, president of Black Lotus, posted a tweet on March 17 reading “Good job conducting yet illegal raid [sic] on the giga chad known as myself, shame you illegally raided a business.”

Stevens was recently appointed Sheriff by the President in an unprecedented move. It appears that he is already taking a proactive stance to the job. Shout News has reached out to Black Lotus Motorcycle Club for comment and will update should we receive a response.

UPDATE: March 18, 12:01 AM – Larry Tate has issued a press release in response to the BCSO release above. It can be found below in its totality:

This article is to be issued to Shout News in response to the latest Press Release by Sheriff Chris Stevens.

Press Release by Larry Tate, President of Black Lotus MC

Today on March 17th @ 7:32 PM EST The Black Lotus Compound was seen with multiple SWAT and PD vehicles in front of it in what seemed to be a desperate plea to hang with the cool kids. Multiple officers forced themselves onto the Black Lotus MC property.

When I, Larry Tate, went to go find out why they’re encroaching on my domain, I was forced into detainment without being given a reason why. Upon asking why, I was tasered not once, but twice, by two different SWAT officers. While in detainment, Detective Tao Grima attempted to tell me to open my mouth. I asked why, to which I was informed that I had a DNA warrant. I asked him why I need to open my mouth, to which he responded, and I quote “I need to put my fingers in your mouth”. At this point I refused his request, as I don’t know where Detective Grima’s fingers have been. He continued to force the issue and claimed it was to serve a DNA warrant. I suggested I could spit in his hand instead, but he denied this suggestion. Eventually he stabbed my finger with a needle to take a blood sample.

After this torture on my own property, I was released by Sergeant Duncan Murray, after that it took 20 minutes for an officer to inform me what they were doing, and even then they refused to tell us. When they eventually got around to tell us what they were doing, they proceeded to inform us what they had seized on the property, which does not match up to what was stated in Sheriff Chris Stevens press release.

I write this from the comfort of my beloved compound, that is now safely back in the hands of the giga chad who has lived there for the past 3 years. I would like to point out, that this is the 3rd raid the police have conducted on my property, and this is the third time the police have ended it by failing to get rid of us.

Signed,

Larry Tate

Yet another BS warrant good to see the state improvement after the last raid.

if Stevens took an ounce of his hatred for bikers and spent it on actual police work, maybe people would feel real justice around here. 🙃

With the current public concerns of police over-reach and impropriety, I wonder if the warrants executed will be made available to the public or if the Judiciary and Law Enforcement are going to keep the contents hidden for what I assume, given how the last raid on Black Lotus was conducted, is probably going to be nothing more than a faulty fishing warrant. I wonder how it would look if Law enforcement got taken to task for executing yet another breach of the 4th Amendment.

The police in this state are reckless with their given power. They have no integrity, and this state is not safe in their hands, they will be the downfall of order and control, not the purveyors of. Let the Chaos reign

Sure hope Tao presented him with a copy of the warrant. It’s illegal otherwise. 🙂
