Recently elected State Representative Kieren Graveshaw has passed away on the 27th of October.

In a statement, Speaker of the Legislature Jessica Valentino says;

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Representative Kieren Graveshaw.

On October 27, 2024, Mr. Graveshaw attended the first session of the 11th Congress at City Hall. During the meeting, he excused himself to seek medical attention at PillBox Medical after showing signs of chest pain.

Following the adjournment of the session, Rep. Barber and I received the tragic news of Mr. Graveshaw’s passing.

We are deeply saddened by this loss, and in the time we spent with Mr. Graveshaw, he demonstrated tremendous joy and passion for his work. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the Graveshaw family and his loved ones.

He will be remembered with warmth and respect in our hearts.

Jessica Valentino, Speaker of the San Andreas Legislature

    I worked with Kieran when I first joined the Public Defenders Office. Although he was across the aisle as a DOJ Prosecutor, it was always a pleasure working with him. He was a skilled litigator and his commitment to the people of this State is further demonstrated by his election to State Representative. I have fond memories of coming up against him in trial, where he diligently represented the State in cases he had been assigned to only hours before. And he presented an excellent case and stiff opposition each and every time.

    I am deeply saddened to have lost a friend. Our lives, the legal community, and the State of San Andreas, will never be the same for having lost him.
