Dr. Seraphine Maxwell has become the new Surgeon General of San Andreas, taking over the role from Dr. Justin Cooke.
In a statement to Shout News, the incoming Surgeon General said:
On the evening of September 24th 2024 Dr. Justin Cooke was requested at a hospital out of state immediately to help with a critical patient with needs a surgeon specializing in heart surgery with non invasive measures.
He has decided that transferring to the hospital that the patient is staying at would be the most ideal situation.

The Role of Surgeon General is an important one and one that has only been occupied by a handful of people over the last few years.
The Surgeon General has the executive role of overseeing the Medical Services department, and also provides medical and health related advise to the Governor as a member of Cabinet.
So who is Dr Seraphine Maxwell, the new Surgeon General?
I have been employed with the San Andreas Medical Services (SAMS) since April of 2022 when we were operating out of Mount Zonah Medical.
I began my service within the San Andreas Medical Services as a Nurse Trainee over 900 days ago. I have been committed to serving the people of San Andreas along with the staff of SAMS for the entirety of my time in SAMS.

What is the future for the San Andreas Medical Service?
I look forward to whatever the future may hold for SAMS. We do not expect to have any large changes. We will be looking to make smaller improvements, continue to offer our Prosthetics department, our Morgatory Services, our Laboratory Services and operating our Trauma Units.
We will strive to continue our public relations via Blood Drives, partnerships and alike. SAMS has an open door policy and encourages anyone faces challenges to reach out to us and speak to someone.
We look forward to continuing to provide medical services to citizens along with educating future nurses and doctors.
