Suspects, who allegedly shot twenty-two police officers during a siege in Vespucci have been named in a court docket by police.
Andrew Malone, Hans Schmidt, Darnell Whitescale, Joseph Martinez, Drew Light and Maxxi Whitescale have all plead not guilty to multiple charges including the twenty-two counts of Aggravated Attempted First-Degree Murder.
Overall, the criminal indictment suggests fines over $160,000 each, making a combined fine of over $1,000,000 and total combined jail time of around 14,700.
In a statement from the lawyers representing the group:
“We are excited for court.”
Hunt & OHagen, representing the group
Police will allege that the group attempted a heist on the Mirage Art Gallery in Vinewood. In the evidence provided, the group allegedly attempted to take multiple pieces of artwork while holding multiple people hostage.
The group then negotiated with police for the safe return of the hostages, under certain conditions to leave. A pursuit started which then turned into the siege.
Police go onto allege that twenty-two officers were injured in the gunfight, ten of which were knocked unconscious.
Police also allege the group used a number of firearms provided or taken from other members of the public.
The trial is going ahead on the 24th of September at 9pm ET. If the current suggested penalties apply, it might be one of the largest single and combined fines in San Andreas history.
