Remingtons Gifts and Jewelry to close

In some shocking news to many, owner Remy Fitzgerald has confirmed that Remington’s Jewelry will close its doors after three years and a half years in business.

Remingtons, which has been a key business in the jewelry sector will close its doors, but not without a huge sale sendoff as Remy departs for Paris.

In a letter, Remy said:

Dear Remingtons family,

This will be probably one of the hardest letters I will ever have to write. For the last 3 and a half years, I have had the great honor of working for and alongside you, creating jewelry that I will be proud of for the rest of my life. The early days of Remingtons were humble, challenging, and I could not have dreamed of my career and tiny little shop growing it into what it is today. And all of it is because of you, the clients and friends I’ve made along the way. Thank you for supporting my dream, and for choosing Remingtons to be a part of your most special moments. It’s a privilege that I will never take for granted.

That being said, everything has a season, and my time in Los Santos is coming to an end. I have purchased commercial space in Paris, and will be relocating Remingtons overseas to start my next adventure. Since my internship in January, my heart has stayed in Paris and I knew that eventually that is where I wanted to end up. The fashion industry in Europe is legendary, and I want to work towards joining the ranks of the best of the best in my field. This was not an easy decision to make, as Los Santos has been my home for many years. But I have found a new home in my husband, Dante, and his support for my dreams has given me the confidence to take the next step in my career.

Remingtons will remain open for the next couple of weeks, and there will be insane deals in order to clear out inventory. I know many were looking forward to the new collection, and I am sorry that it won’t come to fruition in this state. I have a good portion of the new collection ready to go, and will be gifting pieces to my closest friends, and loyal clientele as a thank you for their support.

I love you all, and look forward to visiting LS in the future to see how you all are doing. Thank you for everything.

Sincerely,
Remy Fitzgerald

From the start, Remingtons was a business for the community. One of the first collections the business ever produced was to raise awareness for Breast Cancer.

The business, and Remy, has always been a key part of this city, providing a positive impact with every shimmering diamond and sparking necklace produced.

Shout News and Clout wish Remy and her family all the best on their new journey abroad!
