Jessica Valentino
About me:
First and foremost, I want to be open and transparent with everyone throughout my campaign. Honesty and hard work are values I hold close to my heart. With that in mind, I’d like to present my background to the citizens of Los Santos. While I have no experience in politics or government, I am a long-time business entrepreneur. My work at Premium Deluxe Motorsport (PDM) demonstrates my dedication and determination. I strive for excellence in my career, constantly refining my skills to be the best I can be. I am also someone who believes in walking before I run. My first days may be slow, but it’s to ensure that I perform at my highest level.
What you can expect from me if elected:
My primary goal is to be the voice of the people of Los Santos, ensuring that all citizens are heard and their needs are addressed to the best of my ability. I also aim to collaborate with department heads to meet their needs while finding common ground that aligns with the interests of the people.
Ultimate goal:
I aim to improve the relationship between the Police Department and the citizens of Los Santos by finding common ground between both parties. My connections on both sides of the law have given me a unique perspective on the situation in our city. To be clear, I am not seeking to change the Police Department. Everyone has their own views, whether from a legal or illegal standpoint, and I personally hold strong opinions. However, I am willing to put those opinions aside to work with the Police Department in pursuit of mutual understanding and progress.
Damien Flippinton & Zachary Fitch
Note: These two candidates are running as a Joint Ticket
What makes us the best candidates? Because we are making realistic promises with action plans rather than promoting buzzwords and vague slogans like past candidates. Damien is an ex-convict who has managed to turn his life around to become a business owner and job creator who wants to improve his community. And Zachary Fitch a former SASS employee now business owner and revenue manager who wants to streamline the process.
We want to start by changing who can make FOIA requests by allowing relatives, spouses and Next of Kin to file FOIA requests on behalf of Family in the event of incapacitation. This will allow the people to request information on their close relatives in case of their unfortunate passing or if they are unable to do so due to medical reasons.
We also plan to put a cap on fines regarding class 1 drugs as these substance’s effects aren’t severe enough to warrant that level of punishment with marijuana being considered as safe as alcohol.
We will also facilitate legislation to make it easier for working people to create unions and have them registered with the state as no mechanism currently allows such unions to be created. With this foundational legislation, it will open the door for further legislation to empower the hard-working people of the state.
Now we can’t look past the public distrust of Law enforcement, the Department of Justice, and The Department of Commerce and Labor. while we do believe these organizations do act in good faith we also can’t ignore that in the latest Politipoll conducted by Shout News these 3 organizations score very low with most being highly unsatisfied with these departments. We want to improve public trust by speaking with the heads of these government organizations and the public to create action plans for each department to help improve public satisfaction with public services.
D’Artagan Leblanc
Why do I want to become a state rep? It’s a Hard question to answer, but the main reason would be to fix the divide between the Police Departments and the civilians.
I’ve been in this city for a year, I’ve had conversations with different people from different walks of life. All those conversations led me to believe there is a huge divide between the law enforcement offices and the civilians. I would like to try my best to fix that. It seems to be a hard task it might take a while, but I will try my best.
I’d also like to be more open with the people of Los Santos. As citizens of this city, you have the right to stay informed about things that affect this city. The freedom of speech and the freedom of information should not be impeded by as long as it doesn’t Incite violence in any form.
I’m also willing to hear peoples complaint. Although I cannot guarantee anything, I will try to address your concerns.
To make this short, I’d like to make this state a better place to live and fix the divide between the people and the Law Enforcement Agencies.
Kieren Graveshaw
About me:
I’m your typical hard-working British Gent, who is always upfront, honest, and says things as they are. Up until very recently I was working as a Senior Prosecutor for the Department of Justice before heading into business as a private attorney. I always work to improve myself on a daily basis, and am consistently doing so, piece by piece.
I am also an individual who holds others accountable, and is not afraid to make his side known. Something that I believe we need in a government position and whilst I have no prior political experience, my people skills and ability to work as part of a team will shine through in the position that I am applying for.
If you elect me:
I will be the pinnacle of community outreach for the state. I will talk to, meet with, and confer with as many of you as I possibly can in order to gain a true grasp of what the people of the state believe the issues are at hand. I will work for common ground between the citizens of Los Santos, and the Law Enforcement Officers who work so hard each day to keep us all safe. I also promise to be the champion for every citizen, regardless of your career, background or beliefs – I will have your back and do my utmost to work for each and every one of you.
What Policies will I consider addressing first?
My first focus will be policies that have been points of conversation for quite some time now. The people deserve a direct answer on these vitally important questions. Will we use a Stop and Go system? Will the Freedom of Information Act be more easily acted upon? These are only a couple of what I seek to address as a State Representative.
But Kieren, How will you achieve all of this?
I hear you ask, but the answer is simple. Communication.
Communication is key in ironing out all of the discrepancies, issues, conflicts and dilemma’s that affect our great state. By talking and gathering multiple standpoints on issues, it is possible to reach a mutually beneficial ground for all. This is my goal, to live in a San Andreas that not only adheres to the needs of all of its people, but allows people to voice their concerns and ACTUALLY be heard.
