The Los Desertores Cartel has suffered another blow in attempting to establish it self in the state after a drug production house it operated in the Los Santos Ports was raided by a Los Santos based criminal organization.

Shout News understands at least two have died, and many more were injured. The status of the injured are currently unknown.

According to the Police, the unknown organization which performed the raid also attacked a Desertores Cartel drug convoy in Grapeseed leading to a gunfight and potentially some injuries.

The raid occurred at the on the 17th of August just after 11pm. The unknown attackers arrived by boat and reportedly raided the previously unoccupied United States Postal warehouse and attempted to execute everyone inside.

They reportedly planted explosives on a van located outside the premises, which detonated some time after they left. At least two cartel members attempted to return fire as the unknown attackers fled back on their boat. The attack reportedly started and finished within 10 minutes.

These two cartel members were still present on the dock when Police arrived to the reports of gunfire. They later fled by vehicle. Shout News understands they were not apprehended.

In a statement that didn’t go into specifics, the US Marshals said;

The United States Marshal Service has been made aware of an incident that occurred late August 17, 2024.

At this time the USMS is looking into the incident in its entirety, due to the sensitive nature of the incident and other factors we are unable to provide much detail.

What we can provide is that the incident involved the Los Desertores Cartel, who appear to be trying to take over Cayo Perico and multiple members of the Cartel were injured during the August 17th incident with police. If anyone has information regarding this organization we implore them to come forward and speak with the USMS.

This raid proves there has been a serious escalation in the cartel conflict across the United States, with local groups now actively attacking the foreign based cartels new establishments inside the state.
