Eight associates of the Los Desertores Cartel were killed in a targeted attack located at the Diamond Casino and at the Grapeseed Airfield.
According to information Shout News has received, a shootout between Los Desertores and a Los Santos based Cartel, occurred shortly after midnight on the 16th of July.
This now confirms that the Los Desertores cartel, which has been making inroads on the mainland, has made it to our island state.
The Cartel is known for using intimidation, bribery, and extortion to destabilize local communities, with involvement in drug trafficking, setting up checkpoints to control who and what crosses into their controlled territories.
We reached out to both the Major Crimes Division and the Los Santos Police Department for comment, however as of the publication of this article they have not responded.
