Former Representative Tommy Merlin’s Roadside Protection Act has come into force, after failing to be reviewed by Former Governor Quinn Marino within seven days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The law, which aims to protect emergency responders and other roadside workers, now requires drivers to reduce speed and\/or move over a lane, when passing emergency vehicles with their lights and\/or sirens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A spokesperson for the State Police said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This bill was made with the purpose of creating a safe working environment for emergency or roadside services that are actively working in or around the roadways of San Andreas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This bill has added a new infraction to the San Andreas Traffic Code: Failure to Move Over<\/em><\/strong>, which carries a $750 fine. We encourage all to read up on this bill to be informed and stay up to date with the laws and regulations of San Andreas.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
