Eddie accused Josive of writing &#8220;false claims&#8221; against the Department of Corrections and lying by saying they had &#8216;been through the system.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>I\u2019m sure you\u2019ve seen my ads on Twitter. While they say \u201chold law enforcement accountable\u201d, I\u2019m not talking about LSPD, BCSO, Troopers, or even the Marshals. I\u2019m talking about [the Department of Corrections]. I\u2019ve been through the system \u2013 I\u2019m not going to lie \u2013 but I\u2019ve seen things and heard from people, and we\u2019ve seen citizens on Yeeter asking \u201cWhat\u2019s wrong with this image?\u201d<\/p>\n<cite><a href=\"https:\/\/shout.newdayrp.com\/index.php\/2024\/03\/meet-your-special-election-candidates\/#Josive-Dracul\">Josive Dracul self-penned Candidate Profile<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Mr. Dracul has spoken on \u201cbeing through the system\u201d and if you are reading this, Mr. Dracul, and if I have taken it the wrong way \u2013 please do feel free to correct me on it. But not once have you showed up on the MDT as an arrest \u2013 and there\u2019s nothing wrong with that! You\u2019re a good citizen of the state. That\u2019s what we want.<\/p>\n<cite>Eddie Bones-Chopper in &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/shout.newdayrp.com\/index.php\/2024\/03\/an-open-letter-to-josive-dracule-eddies-piece-of-mind\/\">An Open Letter to Josive Dracul: Eddie\u2019s Piece of Mind<\/a>&#8220;<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The deputy warden stated that the release of MDT information by Eddie Bones on social media and then in the commentary piece was a &#8220;breach of someone else\u2019s privacy and reputation.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>While the Department of Corrections is happy to have free-thinking employees with opinions of their own, this is not something we approve of doing at the expense of a breach of someone else\u2019s privacy and reputation&#8230; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On behalf of the Department of Corrections, we apologise for the release of information regarding your MDT profile both in a public article and on a social media platform. This should have never happened and we hope this is not something that we ever have to encounter in the future.<\/p>\n<cite>Octavius Carver, Deputy Warden of the Department of Corrections<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The warden also stated that there was misinformation in the piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>It was stated that \u201cThe Department of Corrections is not Law Enforcement..\u201d This is factually incorrect. We are indeed Law Enforcement, however, we are considered \u201cSpecial Law Enforcement\u201d.
