You can find their Privacy policy here: <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/about\/privacy\/\">https:\/\/wordpress.org\/about\/privacy\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WordPress.org DOES collect non-personally-identifying information which most websites collect these include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>IP Address (not used to identify who the visitor is)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Browser Type<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Language Preferences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Referring Site<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Date &amp; Time of the Visitor Request<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Additional Plugins<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We use the following plugins to make our website work, if you are concerned with any of these plugins please reached out to Harry Kennedy (redatopia) on Discord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Advanced Editor Tools <\/strong>by Automattic\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Purpose: Enhances the word editor by giving us new tools the play with such as accordian dropdowns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Akismet Anti-spam: Spam Protection<\/strong> by Automattic\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Purpose: Anti-Spam system which protects our website from DDoS attacks and login intrusions, it also prevents spam comments amongst other features<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Block Visibility<\/strong> by Nick Diego\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Allows us to schedule and hide &#8220;blocks&#8221; which are elements on the website<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Custom Fonts Support<\/strong> by Brainstorm Force\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Allows us to use Helvetica and other custom fonts on the site, because the wordpress fonts are basic and boring<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ditty<\/strong> by Metaphor Creations\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A publishing software which allows us to have that scrolling ticker on the top of the website. Has other functions too<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Jetpack<\/strong> by Automattic\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A SEO tool along with an Analytics tool. It takes anonymous views data and allows us to see what posts are performing well, and to check if non NewdayRP sources are accidently engaging with our content. (Its happened at Weazel before, so its just to be safe)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It also has backup and security fuctions to allow us to see if there are any website issues that need fixing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PublishPress Authors<\/strong> by PublishPress\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Allows us to use non wordpress.com accounts for authors, that way no one needs to create 10000 accounts just to use this site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PublishPress Blocks <\/strong>by PublishPress\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Gives us a wide range of new blocks to play with, more relating to journalism and site information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Stackable &#8211; Gutenberg Blocks<\/strong> by Gambit Technologies\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Another block library which allows us to have fancy stuff if we want too<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SVG Support <\/strong>by Benbodhi \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provides native SVG support since thats something WordPress doesn&#8217;t do. It also checks SVG&#8217;s for any malicious code before putting them on the site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The SEO Framework<\/strong> by The SEO Framework Team\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Our SEO provider which allows us to have embeds on discord.
